Essential Oils for the Nervous Nellie.

There are many essential oils that have calming and grounding properties, perfect for those days when your inner Nervous Nellie might be rearing her anxious head.

Balance, Serenity, Frankincense, Lavender, Cedarwood, Bergamot, Peace, and Vetiver all can help calm nerves and reduce anxious feelings. Each of these oils can be used alone, or you can combine them to fit your individual needs.

I'm particularly fond of Balance and Bergamot together, and I wear those two often on my diffuser necklace. Many others swear by Balance and Serenity, and Lavender and Vetiver is a wonderful choice for when you're having a hard time turning your mind off at night.

Apply a drop of the oil to the inside of your wrists, back of your neck, or bottoms of your feet. You can also use 3-6 drops in your diffuser, or just put a drop of oil in your hands, rub them together, and then inhale.
